Six seat in the Third Varsity 8 that defeated MIT and Wellesley (March 30) … Six seat in the Third Varsity 8 that was victorious over Bates and Boston College’s 4V8 (April 7) … Two seat in the Novice 8 that placed second in its heat at the Knecht Cup (April 14) … Two seat in the Third Varsity 8 that took down Wisconsin in 7:38.938 at the Eastern Sprints (May 5).

BEFORE BOSTON UNIVERSITY
Rowed for West Windsor Plainsboro High School South and PNRA/Mercer … Was a senior captain of the team that won Mid-Atlantic Regionals in the W2- and placed 3rd at US Rowing Youth Nationals … As a junior, won the Mid-Atlantic Regionals in the WV8+ and placed 4th in the WV8+ at US Rowing Youth Nationals … Also participated in martial arts for 5 years.

Daughter of Xiaoyun Bao and Yuping Qiu … Has one sibling, Yanjie Qiu, who rowed at Amherst College … Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences with plans to major in Biology.
