Hollie Schleicher, who led Boston College to the 2021 NCAA title, joined the Boston University women’s lacrosse staff as an assistant coach in August of 2024. She enters her second year in 2026.

During her first season, Schleicher helped the team group grab 18.94 ground balls per game, good for ninth in the NCAA. She also coached Academic All-Patriot League goalkeeper NAtalie Aiosa and assisted with coaching Second Team All-Patriot League honorees Tessa Geddes and Izabella Amonte.

Schleicher comes to BU after a stop at Cornell where she served as an assistant coach for the 2024 season. She helped the Big Red garner seven wins including Ivy League defeats of Dartmouth and Columbia.
 
A two-time captain, Schleicher helped BC to three consecutive national title games in 2021, 2022 and 2023. She made 55 starts in 65 appearances for the Eagles and controlled 242 draws, scooped up 93 ground balls and caused 42 turnovers in her tenure. 
 
The midfielder was a 2x Inside Lacrosse All-American, an IWLCA and USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American, an IWLCA All-Northeast Region First Team member and a 2x All-ACC selection. She was also named to the NCAA All-Tournament Team in 2021 for her performance in the postseason. 
 
Schleicher graduated in with a bachelor’s in communication, making the dean’s honor roll three times and the ACC All-Academic team twice. Schleicher volunteered off the field with Team Impact, the BC Athletics Community Service Board and the BC Pen Pal Society.
