After recording her first collegiate hat trick, senior Samantha Sutherland of the women’s ice hockey team has been named the GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.
Sutherland’s three goals helped No. 10 BU earn a 5-2 win over Providence in the Terriers’ regular-season opener on Sunday. She tallied once in the first period and twice in the third period, including the eventual game-winning goal.
