After reaching the top of the podium three times in BU’s 174.5-118.5 victory over Bryant, Julimar Avila of the women’s swimming & diving team has been named the GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.
Avila started the night by swimming the third leg of the 200 medley relay, guiding the squad to first place with a time of 1:48.83. The senior also touched the wall first in the 50 breast with a time of 30.67 seconds as well as the 50 fly, clocking in at 25.66 seconds.
Wednesday marked the third meet this season that Avila has recorded multiple individual first-place finishes.
