After winning a national title in the double scull, freshmen Grace Beery and Catharine Griskowitz of the lightweight rowing team have been named the GoTerriers.com Student-Athletes of the Week.

Competing in the double scull grand final on Sunday at the IRA National Championship Regatta, Beery and Griskowitz quickly pulled away from the pack and distanced themselves from second-place Wisconsin and third-place Georgetown. Their lead was a full length at the 500-meter mark and the Terriers were never seriously challenged. The duo cruised to victory with a time of 7:51.69.

This is the second time in program history that the Terriers have won a national title in this event, having first done so in 2016.
