Alumni Game Successful, Email Newsletter Established

Nearly 20 former Terrier soccer players were on hand last Saturday (April 7th) for the annual alumni game. The original plan was to play the game on the resurfaced Nickerson Field. However, weather problems have forced a postponement so the FieldTurf will not be in place by the third week of April.
"We had a great time," said head coach Neil Roberts. "I was very happy with the attendance, and many of the players brought their wives and children." In addition, Roberts announced the beginning of an email newsletter.
Alumni, families, and friends are encouraged to send material for the newsletter to Terrier assistant coach Brian Devenney. His email address is devenney@bu.edu
"Our goal is to keep the alumni involved all year," said Roberts. "It was great to see some of the former players, and coach Ron Cervasio come back for the day. But, we want to make this more than a one-day event.
"We want our alumni to feel involved with the program all year," concluded Roberts. "We want to stay in touch with them, and we want them to stay in touch with us."
