Men's Track & Field Competes At New Englands

Hanover, N.H. - The Boston University men's track & field team sent individuals to the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) track meet this weekend at Dartmouth College from May 11-12. The BU men competed in the 100m dash and the javelin throw on the first day of competition.
Sophomore David Barth (Los Altos, Calif.) ran the 100m dash in 11.78 seconds to finish sixth in his heat and 16th overall. Junior Andrew Beatman (Middletown, Conn.) competed in the javelin throw for the Terriers. His throw of 52.42m (172') placed him 14th overall.
The second day's men's events begin at noon with the shot put.
