Terriers Have Strong Showing at Yale Invitational

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Senior Cori Lefkowith, freshman Stefanie Nunic and junior Elizabeth Corrao led the Boston University women's tennis team with third-place finishes in their respective singles flights, while Lefkowith along with teammate Danielle Abraham won the White Doubles Flight title on Sunday during the three-day Yale Invitational.
Other teams participating in the tournament included host Yale, Penn State, Fairfield, Syracuse and Quinnipiac.
The Terriers finished with a 18-11 record in singles and 6-3 record in doubles. They will next participate in the Big Green Invitational at Dartmouth beginning on Friday (Nov. 7).
