
Ryan, James Set to Compete at NCAA Nationals

The Boston University women's indoor track and field team has two representatives at NCAA Nationals this weekend, with seniors Marisa Ryan and Tahari James competing in the 3000m and long jump, respectively.
Ryan is ranked ninth nationally in the 3000m, after earning a 9:15.63 time on March 1 at the New England Championship. She also placed 44th nationally in the mile run with a season-best 4:45.65 mark on Feb. 23 at the America East Championship, an event that the women's indoor track team won for the third consecutive season. Ryan was named the Track Athlete of the Meet for her first-place finishes in the 3000m and mile run.
James finished the season ranked 10th nationally in the triple jump, with her top mark of the season coming on March 1 at the New England Championship, where she jumped 13.30m to earn an automatic qualification.
