DES MOINES, Iowa - For the second time this year, seniors Marisa Ryan and Tahari James have earned All-America status at the NCAA Championships. Ryan finished fourth in the 10,000m run with a 33:54.38 time, a few spots ahead of classmate, who came in 13th with a 34:54.32 mark. James' 13.30m mark in the triple jump finals clinched ninth place, while her 13.68m distance in the preliminaries set a new school record and qualified the senior for Olympic trials.
Ryan also earned All-America status during the indoor season, running a 9:12.83 time in the 3000m for fifth place. James' 13.42m distance in the triple jump took sixth place and All-America honors during the indoor season. The two seniors are the first Terriers to take All-America honors in both the indoor and outdoor season since Christine Stief in 1995.
