Men's Tennis Opens Fall Season at UConn Invitational

STORRS, Conn. - The Boston University men's tennis team traveled to the University of Connecticut to compete in the UConn Invitational between Friday (Sept. 29) and Sunday (Sept. 30). However, due to rain, Sunday was canceled and the competition was relocated to the East Hartford Racquet Club as well as the Manchester Racquet Club for the two-day event.
The 12 teams in competition participated in doubles action on Friday and in both doubles and singles on Saturday. With the limited court space at the clubs, each singles match was limited to one set, and there was no consolation bracket.
