
Freshman Nunic Ranked Regionally in ITA Women's Tennis Poll

Boston University women's tennis freshman Stefanie Nunic received a No. 27 ranking in the East Region poll released by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). During the fall portion of the schedule, the New York, N.Y., native posted a 7-4 singles record while competing in four different tournaments.
During the ITA East Regionals, she earned a first-round bye and then defeated a player from Binghamton. In the third round against Boston College's Lana Krasnopolsky, ranked fourth regionally, Nunic won the first set before losing 4-6, 6-1, 6-1.
The only player from the America East to earn a regional ranking, Nunic and the Terriers kick off the spring campaign on Saturday, January 24 at 1 p.m.
