
Terriers Compete at Harvard Open

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Boston University men's and women's track teams competed in their second meet of the indoor season, participating in the Harvard Open at the Gordon Track and Field Center on Saturday.
Junior Jen Fleser was the lone representative from the women's team, competing in the weight throw. The Warwick, R.I., native placed sixth in the event with a throw of 14.19m.
Tewado Latty led a group of three Terriers in the 200m dash, placing third overall and posting an IC4A Championship-qualifying time of 22.21. Joel Senick took eighth in the event with a mark of 22.49 and freshman Davis VanOpdorp placed 35th, crossing the line in 23.48.
Logan Moore took third in the pole vault with a clearance of 4.55m and Jan Bicanic captured third in the shot put, posting a mark of 15.52m.
BU is back in action in a multi-team meet on January 14, 2010 at the Boston University Track and Tennis Center.
