
Quinnipiac Defeats Men's Tennis, 5-2

BOSTON - Quinnipiac earned a 5-2 victory over the Boston University men's tennis team on Sunday afternoon at the Track and Tennis Center. The Bobcats improved to 2-1 after sweeping Hofstra, 7-0, on Saturday, while the Terriers fall to 1-6.
Quinnipiac won two of the three doubles matches and captured four of the six singles points for the win.
In singles action, senior Tim Sichler defeated James Kwei at No. 4 for BU's first point, and junior James Bernstein rallied from a one-set deficit and pulled out the super tiebreaker for the 2-6, 6-3, 10-7 victory in the No. 6 match.
During doubles, Jeff Chudacoff and Charles Weinstein won the tiebreaker at No. 1 to defeat Brian Mikkelson and James Kwei, 8-7 (7-5) for BU's lone victory.
The Terriers return to action next Sunday (Feb. 22) to host Fairfield with action set to start at 3 p.m.
