After earning All-America honors for the second time in a year, senior Andrea Walkonen of the women's track and field team has been named the GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.

Walkonen finished eighth in the 5,000-meter run at the NCAA Championship on Friday in College Station, Texas, breaking her own school record that she set last month with a new mark of 16:03.04. The Jaffrey, N.H., native was previously named an All-American after the cross country season this fall, when she finished 21st at the national championships. This season, Walkonen captured the America East Championship in both the 3,000m and 5,000m runs.
