PRINCETON, N.J. -
A fifth-place finish by the 4x100m relay team concluded action for the Boston University women's track and field team at the ECAC Outdoor Championship on Sunday at William Weaver Track & Field Stadium. The Terriers finished with nine points, good for 30th place in the field. Connecticut won the meet with 88 points, besting the 58 points tallied by runner-up Virginia.
The 4x100m relay team of junior Whitney Ford, freshman Jackie Dim, sophomore Laura Martin and freshman Shelby Walton clocked in at 46.72 to finish fifth. Senior Tahari James was fourth in the long jump on Saturday to account for the Terriers' other points.
The Terriers will be in action again on May 29-30 at the NCAA East Regional in Greensboro, N.C.
