
Wilder Fourth in Long Jump at America East Championship

VESTAL, N.Y. - Senior Kodjo Wilder finished fourth in the long jump to highlight action for the Boston University men's outdoor track and field team on the first day of the America East Championships on Saturday at the East Gym Track Complex. The Terriers sit in seventh after the first seven events.
New Hampshire leads the meet with 92.5 points. Albany follows with 57.33 points with Binghamton (45.33), Vermont (29), UMBC (24.5) and Maine (14.33) ahead of the Terriers' five points. Hartford rounds out the pack with four points.
Wilder qualified for the IC4A Championships with his mark of 7.13m in the long jump.
Most of Saturday's action was preliminaries. Sophomore Joel Senick posted the fastest qualifying time in the 400m dash with an IC4A-qualifying 47.60.
The conference champion will be determined on Sunday (May 3) with action beginning at 9 a.m.
