Senick Tallies Top Qualifying Time at New England Championships

AMHERST, Mass. - Sophomore Joel Senick posted the best qualifying time in the 400-meter dash, highlighting action for the Boston University men's outdoor track and field team on the first day of competition at the New England Championship on Friday at the UMass Track and Field Complex. Senick posted a time of 47.85 to lead the eight runners who advanced to the finals.
No Terriers scored in the six events that had their finals on Friday. The meet concludes on Saturday (May 9) with BU action beginning at 1:20 p.m.
