FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Boston University senior Andrea Walkonen did not finish in the 10,000m run on Thursday at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at McDonnell Field. Senior Tahari James is in action at the national championship meet on Friday (June 12), competing in qualifying for the triple jump at 4 p.m.

Walkonen qualified for the championship with the second-fastest time in the nation in the 10,000m at the Stanford Invitational in March, but missed the rest of the season due to injury before returning for the national championship. She earned All-America honors in cross country and indoor track in her senior campaign.
