BOSTON - Senior Edwina Clark has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Team, as announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) on Thursday. Clark was one of 10 student-athletes selected to the University Division District 1 first team, which covers Division I institutions in New England and New York.
Clark competed in the long jump and sprints and relays this year, qualifying for the ECAC Championship in the long jump in both the indoor and outdoor season. The Sydney, Australia, native captured the America East Indoor Championship in the long jump to help the Terriers capture the team title and also won the event at the Battle of Beantown and BU's quad meet in January. A captain of the squad, she jumped a season-best 5.91m at the Terrier Invitational.
Clark graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in nutritional sciences from the Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. She posted a 3.78 cumulative grade point average and was named to the America East Indoor Women's Track and Field All-Academic Team.
