Track and Field Teams Announce 2010-11 Indoor Schedules

2010-11 Indoor Track & Field Schedule
BOSTON - The Boston University men's and women's track & field programs have announced their 2010-11 indoor schedules. Both teams are slated to participate in at least eight meets during the indoor season, with many of the competitions taking place at the BU Track and Tennis Center.
From Dec. 18 to Jan. 2, BU will host three "mini meets" before hosting a multi-team varsity meet on Jan. 20. The women's squad will compete at the Terrier Invitational on Jan. 28 with the men participating the following day. BU's heptathlon and decathlon student-athletes will compete at the Harvard Multi-Team Meet on Jan. 28-29.
Both squads return to Harvard on Feb. 4 for the Battle of Beantown before the Terriers host the Valentine Invitational on Feb. 11 (women) and Feb. 12 (men).
BU will then host three championships at the Track and Tennis Center, including the America East Championships (Feb. 18-19), New England Championships (Feb. 25-26) and IC4A Championships (March 5-6). While the men's team will compete at the IC4As, the women's team will be participating at the ECAC Championships at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston, Mass.
The NCAA Championships will take place on March 11-12 in College Station, Texas.
