
Women's Track and Field Finishes 19th at ECAC Championships

BOSTON - Led by freshman Nikko Brady's top-five finishes in the long jump and 60-meter hurdles, the Boston University women's indoor track and field team competed in the ECAC Championships at the Reggie Lewis Track. The Terriers recorded 19 points to finish 19th out of 52 programs participating in Saturday and Sunday's event.
Brady took fifth in the hurdles at 8.56, as UConn's Phylicia George won the race at 8.26. She then placed fourth in the long jump at 5.83m, with senior Whitney Ford placing ninth at 5.67m.
Freshman Allison Barwise placed fifth in the pentathlon with 3,500 points.
In another jumping event, junior Karly Neveu cleared 1.69m in the high jump to grab sixth-place. Ford returned in the triple jump for 19th at 11.58m.
Sophomore Jackie Dim finished 10th in the 400-meter dash at 56.57, and sophomore Laura Martin placed 13th in the 200-meter at 24.95.
