Floetker Earns Pitcher & Rookie of the Week Honors

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Freshman Holli Floetker has earned America East Pitcher and Player of the Week Honors, the conference office announced on Monday evening.
Floetker, a freshman hurler, fired nine shutout innings last week and picked up the win in BU's 4-0 victory over SIU-Edwardsville on Friday. She allowed just three hits and struck out five in picked up her first career collegiate victory and shutout.
Floetker also pitched two no-hit innings of relief against Miami (Ohio) on Saturday.
In the batter's box, she swung at a .250 clip with three hits, two runs and three RBIs.
