Softball Set to Open PL Series With Bucknell Friday at Noon

BOSTON – Continuing Patriot League play at home, the Boston University softball team will host Bucknell in a three-game series starting with Friday's doubleheader at 12 p.m. Saturday's single contest will also feature a 12 p.m. first pitch.
The Terriers are currently tied atop the PL standings with Colgate at 5-1 after earning a sweep at Lafayette and posting 2-1 home record vs. Lehigh.

- Senior Haley Ganino (6-1, 3.04 ERA) has pitched 50.2 innings and earned one save alongside Ricard.
- BU is batting .327 as a team and holding opponents to .258 with advantages in extra-base hits (90-66) and walks (153-86) alongside a 39-16 deficit in stolen bases.
- The Bison started off PL play at home with a 2-1 record against Holy Cross, highlighted by 8-7 and 2-1 wins over the Crusaders alongside a 4-1 loss.
