Terriers Win Four Events, Place Second at Battle of Beantown

ALLSTON, Mass. - The Boston University women's track and field team won four events and placed second at the Battle of Beantown at Harvard's Gordon Indoor Track on Friday night.
The Terriers finished with 116 points, while Harvard garnered 191 points for the victory. Boston College secured a third-place finish with 104 points and Northeastern collected 95.
Sophomore Nikko Brady posted ECAC-qualifying marks as she won two events for the Terriers, including the 60m hurdles (8.50) and long jump (5.79m). Sophomore Allison Barwise won the high jump (1.73m) with an ECAC-qualifying mark and junior Shelby Walton placed first in the 60m dash (7.59).
Junior Katie Matthews (4:52.83) and freshman Rosa Moriello (4:57.56) posted ECAC-qualifying times in the mile run, while sophomore Catherine Milledge posted an ECAC-qualifying time of 8.77 in the 60m hurdles.
BU will return to action on Fri., Feb. 11 when it competes in the Valentine Invitational at the BU Track & Tennis Center.
