BOSTON - Concluding the regular season, the Boston University men's tennis team earned a 7-0 sweep over Hartford on Thursday afternoon at the Track and Tennis Center. Earning their fourth sweep of the season, the Terriers improve to 10-10, while the Hawks drop to 6-13.
Playing in his final match at BU, senior Bill Kring teamed with junior Alex Green for an 8-1 victory in the No. 2 doubles spot and then pulled out a 6-3, 6-1 win in the No. 5 singles slot.
Freshman Jesse Frieder played a perfect singles match at No. 2, winning all 12 games.
The Terriers will next compete in the America East Championships, which run Friday, April 29 - Sunday, May 1 at Yale University.
