
Men's Tennis Falls in America East Semifinal to UMBC

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Playing in the semifinals of the America East Championships, the Boston University men's tennis team dropped a 4-0 decision to UMBC at Yale University. With the loss, the Terriers end the season with a 10-11 record.
The second-seeded Retrievers won two of the three doubles matches and then the first three singles contests for the victory. BU led in one doubles match and two singles contests before they were called due to UMBC earning the necessary points to advance.
Sophomore Josh Friedman and junior Michael Kopelman had solid performances for the Terriers. They led 7-5 in the top doubles spot and won the first set of their respective singles matches.
