Sophomore R.J. Page of the Boston University men's track and field team has been named this week's GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.
At the two-day America East championships, Page secured Most Outstanding Track Performer honors and garnered the Coaches' Award, given to the student-athlete who accumulated the most points. He helped the Terriers to a third-place finish, which was their best finish since placing second in 2001.
The Swedesboro, N.J., native captured individual titles in both the 100m (10.55) and 200m (21.22) dashes, establishing an America East record in the latter. The sophomore helped set a championship record in the 4x100m relay (41.11) with junior Tewado Latty, senior Joel Senick and sophomore Duran Ward. Page also placed second in the 4x400m relay (3:12.41) with Latty, Senick and freshman Stephen Vitale.
