Eugene, Ore. - Freshman Stephen Vitale of the Boston University men's track & field team placed 16th overall in the 400-meter hurdles at the USA Track & Field championships at Hayward Field on Friday afternoon. On the women's side, freshman Rosa Moriello finished fourth in the 5,000-meter run.
Vitale, a native of Randolph, N.J., clocked in at 54.66 in the hurdles to take home 16th place and complete his freshman season.
Meanwhile, Moriello crossed the line in 17:10.09 to cap off a standout rookie campaign.
