Lehane Named America East Track Performer of the Week

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Senior Elliot Lehane of the Boston University men’s track & field team was named America East Track Performer of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.
Lehane placed first in the 5,000m run at the Husky Spring Open on Saturday in Dedham, Mass. He finished with a time of 14:57.09, which was over 17 seconds faster than the second-place competitor. He was one of two Terriers to compete this past weekend.
BU will return to action this weekend, as the Terriers compete in both the Texas Relays (March 28-31) and the Snowflake Classic (March 31).
