Terriers Take Part in New Balance Twilight Meet

WALTHAM, Mass. - The Boston University men's track & field team competed at the New Balance Twilight Meet #1, hosted by Bentley, on Saturday night.
Freshman Ethan Homan led the Terriers with a third-place performance in the 800m run, turning in a time of 1:52.61. In the 1,500m run, classmate Matti Groll led BU with a time of 3:56.51, good for eighth. Junior Alex Civitano (3:58.64), junior John McKeon (4:06.48) and sophomore Syian Srikumar (4:07.45) also competed in that event. Sophomore Paul Gennaro had a top-10 finish in the 5,000m run, placing seventh with a time of 15:18.47.
The Terriers will travel to Princeton, N.J., for the IC4A Championships on May 16, 17 and 18.
