
Barwise Advances to NCAA Championships

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Allison Barwise of the Boston University women's track & field team advanced to the NCAA Championships in the high jump on Friday night at the University of North Florida.
Competing in the 2014 NCAA Division I Women's Track and Field Preliminary Championships, Barwise achieved a height of 1.81 meters. She will compete at the 2014 NCAA Division I Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon, on June 11-14. It will be her third trip to the NCAA Championships after having competed in 2011 and 2012; Barwise was a USTFCCCA Second-Team All-America selection in 2012.
Nikko Brady completed her outstanding collegiate career on Friday with a time of 13.81 seconds in the 100m hurdles. She leaves BU having posted the second-best long jump mark in program history (6.21 meters) and with a career-best time of 13.55 seconds in the 100m hurdles. Brady also posted a hand-timed mark of 13.40 seconds in the prelims of the 100m hurdles at the Patriot League Championships this year.
Rosa Moriello will be the final Terrier to compete this weekend as she takes the track in the 5,000m run on Saturday night. That event is scheduled to start at 8:45 p.m.
