After advancing to the NCAA Championships in the 5,000m run, Rosa Moriello of the women’s track & field team has been named the GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.

Competing in the 2014 NCAA Division I Women’s Track and Field Preliminary Championships, Moriello finished third in her heat and sixth overall with a personal-best time of 16:03.57. She earned an automatic spot in the 2014 NCAA Division I Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon, on June 11-14. This is the first time that Moriello has advanced out of the East prelims.
