Oluwadara Shines at IC4A Championships

BOSTON -Sophomore David Oluwadara of the Boston University men's track and field team won the triple jump at the IC4A Championships held this past weekend at the Track & Tennis Center.
Oluwadara finished the indoor season with the best triple jump mark in the Patriot League with a personal-best leap of 15.45 meters. It shattered the previous conference standard of 14.65 meters. Oluwadara completed the winning jump on his final attempt, edging Albany's Devin Willis (15.44m) for the title.
Two other Terriers competed to help BU earn 12.50 points as a team over the weekend. Senior Nikolaos Farmakidis finished sixth in the pole vault with a mark of 4.95 meters. Classmate Ethan Knight took 11th in the shot put with a throw of 15.69 meters.
