
Thirty-Two Terriers Named to PL Honor Roll

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Thirty-two Boston University student-athletes were named to the Patriot League Cross Country Academic Honor Roll, the conference office announced on Tuesday.
Ten members of the men's team and 22 members of the women's team were selected for this year's list, which featured 262 runners among both genders. This is the second straight year that both Terrier squads combined to place at least 30 athletes on the honor roll. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's seven fall championship sports.
Paul Gennaro, who was named to the Academic All-Patriot League Team for a second straight time in November, leads the Terrier men's contingent. He is joined by Tom Cunningham, Daniel Erickson, Matti Groll, Liam O'Connell, Alec Olson, Zachary Prescott, Mitch Russo and Alexander Seal.
On the women's team, three-time Academic All-Patriot League selection Shelby Stableford leads the group. The other 21 female harriers from BU on the list are Hallie Armstrong, Sarah Breen, Courtney Breiner, Fiona Doolan, Paige Ferrucci, Jamie Grossman, Alicia Huerta, Rachel Lotterman, Jenny Mistretta, Cara Moyer, Jordan Nustad, Erin Pierce, Hannah Purtell, Tina Romak, Sarah Saccoach, Felicia Sciortino, Katie Sexton, Lela Stemple, Michelle Sumner, Colleen Tretheway and Alexia Zawadzke.
