Moriello to Represent USA at 2017 Great Edinburgh XCountry Challenge

INDIANAPOLIS - Former Boston University women's cross country standout Rosa Moriello was selected to compete for Team USA at the 2017 Great Edinburgh XCountry Challenge, USA Track & Field announced on Thursday.
Moriello is part of an elite group of men and women that will represent Team USA, including three Olympians that competed at Rio this past summer. The United States finished third at last year's event.
A 2015 graduate of BU, Moriello had an illustrious cross country career with the Terriers. She was a two-time individual champion at the Patriot League Championship, leading BU to back-to-back conference crowns. She also qualified for the 2014 NCAA Championship thanks to a 13th-place finish at that year's Northeast Regional. For her success, Moriello was named to the Patriot League's 25th Anniversary Team in 2015.
