BOSTON – The Boston University women's basketball team returns home on Wednesday (Dec. 7) when it welcomes Dartmouth to Case Gym. Game time is set for 5:30 p.m.

The Terriers will be looking for their second win of the season following a hard-fought lost to Long Beach State on Sunday in their second game of the Arizona State Classic tournament in Tempe, Ariz. Dartmouth (2-4) most recently fell at William & Mary, 63-50 on Thursday.

Wednesday will mark the 21st meeting between the two teams with BU leading the series 13-7.  The teams played each other last season with the Big Green coming away with a 72-52 win in Hanover, N.H. in the first game between the squads since 1998.

The Big Green are led by junior guard Kate Letkewicz who is first for Dartmouth in both points (11.2) and rebounding (6.2 rpg). Junior center Olivia Smith is second on the team in rebounding (6.0 rpg) and third in scoring (7.3 ppg) while sophomore forward Emily Dryden has been coming off the bench to shoot a team-best .522 percent from the floor while averaging 6 points per game.

Through eight games, senior Sarah Hope leads the Terriers with 10.8 ppg with 22 of her 28 made field goals coming from behind the arc. Junior Sophie Beaudry (8.3 ppg) and junior Kara Sheftic (7.6 ppg) rank second and third in points, respectively.

Beaudry is averaging a squad-best 5.9 rebounds per contest while senior Courtney Latham is pulling down 4.6 boards a game. Junior Corrine Williams and Hope are tied for the lead in assists on the season with 24 each while Latham is tops in steals (16).
