Terriers Compete at UMass Lowell Invitational

Results
LOWELL, Mass. - The Boston University women's track & field team competed at the UMass Lowell Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
Five Terriers finished in the top five of their respective events. Senior Jade Paul won the 800m run with a time of 2:16.47 while junior Kerri Graber finished second in the 400m dash with a time of 1:00.43. Two freshmen posted top-five finishes in the 400m hurdles, as Jordan Coverson (1:06.69) and Casey Kelly (1:08.54) were second and fifth, respectively.
In the discus, freshman Sarah Cicchetti finished fifth with a mark of 35.74 meters (117’ 3”) while junior Catherine Yu was ninth (31.25m, 102’ 6”). Cicchetti was also sixth in the shot put with a toss of 10.43 meters (34’ 2.75”).
BU will be in action at two different meets over the course of the coming week, as the Terriers take part in the Texas Relays and the Snowflake Classic.
