
Terriers Race at Dartmouth Invitational

HANOVER, N.H. - The Boston University men's track & field team competed at the Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
BU sent its distance runners to Dartmouth and the Terriers returned to Boston with six top-five finishes, including two victories. They also posted three other top-10 performances as part of a strong day on the track.
The Terriers took the top four spots in the 1,500m run, led by junior Ethan Homan in first with a time of 3:45.78. Freshman Alexander Seal (3:46.37) secured second, with senior Kevin Thomas (3:47.17) and junior Matti Groll (3:7.38) finishing third and fourth, respectively. Junior Mike Ward (4:14.95) also competed in that race.
Senior Alec Olson cruised to a victory in the 5,000m run with a time of 14:51.95, nearly 18 seconds ahead of the second-place competitor. Junior Cullin Burdett was fourth in that event with a time of 15:16.00, followed by senior Syian Srikumar (15:35.36) in seventh and freshman Daniel Erickson (17:05.42) in 10th.
Sophomore Liam O’Connell finished eighth in the 800m run with a time of 1:56.36, followed by junior Tom Cunningham (2:01.61) in 13th.
BU will be back in action next weekend at both the UVA Invitational (April 22-23) and the Sean Collier MIT Invitational (April 23).
