HOW IT HAPPENED
- Christian Sady put Harvard on the board at 43:05 with a chip shot over senior Matt Gilbert toward the far post near the BU line.
- The Crimson entered halftime with a 6-1 advantage in shot attempts and 5-0 lead in corner kicks.
- Harvard only required five minutes in the second to extend the lead, as BU misplayed a clearing attempt on a long Crimson pass that had plenty of spin on the first bounce and allowed Jake Freeman to shoot past the defenseless Gilbert.
- Senior Felix De Bona was brought down to the ground while attempting a header on freshman Jerry Ozor's cross and rifled the penalty kick at the left post at 70:45.
- Harvard's Kyle Parks saved a header shot from freshman Matt McDonnell and a hard attempt from Ozor in the 78th and 79th minutes, respectively, to maintain the Crimson's lead.
- With BU playing more players up in the frantic search for the equalizer, the Harvard took advantage on a counter that led to Matthew Glass' insurance score at 86:36.
