BU Stands in Fourth Following Terrier Invitational Opener

BOSTON - Hosting the 13th annual Terrier Invitational, the Boston University men's swimming and diving team raked in 204.5 points to stand in fourth place following the opening day of action from Competition Pool.
Patriot League foe Army West Point stands in first place with 313.5 points, while Boston College follows with 306 and UMass holds the third spot with 262 points.
The 200 free relay squad of Quinn Smith, Matt Traub, Judson Balding, Jake Goroshko started the night off with a third-place finish, clocking in at 1:23.60. Trevor Winans posted the lone other top-three finish for the Terriers in the 500 free at 2:38.34.
The Terrier Invitational resumes Saturday with preliminaries commencing at 10 a.m. and the finals will start at 6 p.m.
