CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - In a hard-fought crosstown matchup that featured four three-set singles contests, the Boston University men's tennis team came up short at Boston College, 6-1, on Friday evening.

- Seniors Jake De Vries and Mario Sandoval were edged at line 2 in a tiebreaker for the 7-6 loss.
