
Terriers Compete at Morgan State and MIT Invite

The Boston University men's and women's track & field teams were both in action this weekend, competing at two meets, the Morgan State Legacy Track & Field Meet in Baltimore, Md., and the MIT Sean Collier Invite in Cambridge, Mass.
Competing at Morgan State on the women's side, the 4 x 100m relay team of Ebony Brown, Toria Levy, Tehya Noell and Ayodele Adesanya once again had an outstanding performance, finishing in second place with a fast time of 46.38.
Later in the meet, Ebony Brown also finished ninth in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.50.
Senior Toria Levy had a good result in the 400m dash, finishing with a time of 56.43 and in second place in a large field of 45 sprinters.
Competing at Morgan State on the men's side, senior All-American Cameron Williams advanced to the finals in the 100m dash with a very fast preliminary time of 10:81, but did not compete in the finals.
Other top performances included Jamin Harris, who finished sixth in the men's 400m hurdles with a time of 51.50 and Cameron Nurse, who finished 11th in the 400m dash with a time of 49.10 to set a new personal best.
Competing at the MIT Sean Collier Invite on the men's side, Tom Cunningham finished sixth in the 1500 meter run with a time of 4:06.58. Jason Biesma finished ninth in the 110m hurdles with a time of 17.94. Johnny Kemps finished second in the steeple chase with a time of 9:26.40.
In the field, Anthony Vilmenay finished second in the high jump with a 1.88m (6' 2") effort, matching his personal best. Brian Shaeffer finished fifth in the pole vault with a 4.17m (13' 8.1") vault.
Competing at the MIT Sean Collier Invite on the women's side, Courtney Breiner won the 1500m run with a time of 4:38.74. in a large field of 44 runners. In the same event, Paige Ferruci finished third with a time of 4:47.89 and Allyson Schlosser finished fourth with a time of 4:51.02, a new personal best.
In the field, Adrienne Pascucci and Christie Molloy finished tied for second in the women's high jump with a 1.48m mark (4' 10.2").
The Terriers will next compete at the Penn relays in Philadelphia, Penn. on April 27 to 29th.
