Auburn, Alabama – The Boston University men's track & field team continued its outdoor season over the weekend by competing at the Tiger Track Classic in Auburn, Ala. on Friday and Saturday
The Terriers were once again led by senior David Oluwadara who won the triple jump on Friday with a leap of 15.67 (51' 5"). Oluwadara later finished sixth in the long jump with 6.96m (22'10") effort. Oluwadara is coming off a record-breaking performance on April 1st when he broke the 32-year-old school record in the triple jump at the Texas Relays with a leap of 16.19, which stands as the eighth-best triple jump in the nation this year.
Senior Cameron Williams had another great meet, winning the 100m dash with a time of 10.55 in a large field of 32 runners. Williams bested second-place finisher Raheem Chambers of Auburn who finished in 10.63 while BU senior Justin Flynn finished third with a time of 10.69. Later in the meet, Williams finished 3rd in the 200m dash with a time of 20.72.
The Terriers' 4x100m relay team of Williams, Cameron Nurse, Chiebuka Onwuzurike and Justin Flynn also had an excellent performance, finishing second with a strong time of 40.23. The Terriers finished behind only Auburn who finished in 39.56.
