Terriers Continue Season at Tiger Track Classic

Auburn, Alabama – The Boston University women's track & field team continued its outdoor season over the weekend by competing at the Tiger Track Classic in Auburn, Ala. on Friday and Saturday

The Terriers were once again led by senior Toria Levy who finished second in the 400m hurdles with a exceptional time of 57.12, a new personal best and the fifth fastest 400m hurdles run in the nation this year. Earlier in the meet, Levy took third in the 100m hurdles with a time of 13.80.

The Terriers had 3 top ten finishers in the 100m hurdles event as Levy was joined by teammates Tehya Noell, who finished fourth with a time of 14.17 and Ally Saccone who finished eighth with a time of 14.29.

Another standout performance came from the 4x100m relay team of Leah Fowlkes, Ayodele Adesanya, Djenne Parris and Ebony Brown, who finished sixth with time of 46.43.

OTHER NOTABLE PERFORMANCES

Lovie Burleson finished 9th in the long jump with a leap of 5.67m (18' 7.25").
Leah Fowlkes finished third (second among collegians) in the 400m dash with a time of 56.64 while Ayodele Adesanya took eighth with a time of 55.85.
Tehya Noell finished 11th in the 100m dash with a time of 12.32.
The 4x400 meter relay team of Djenne Parris, Ayodele Adesanya, Jordan Coverson and Cynthia Aroke finished fifth in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:46.98.
