AMHERST, Mass. - For the second time this weekend, the No. 16 Boston University field hockey team took a 1-0 lead into halftime only to have its opponent come-from-behind with goals off corners in the second half, as the Terriers dropped a 2-1 road contest to Massachusetts on Sunday.
Freshman Ailsa Connolly opened the scoring in the 22nd minute with her team-leading third goal of the season. UMass countered with goals from Sarah Hawkshaw and Anne Dijkstra with the go-ahead tally coming in the 63rd minute. Both teams move to 4-2 on the year.

- Hawkshaw tucked a corner shot inside the left post off a corner at 53:20 to knot the score.

- The Terriers threatened late but UMass netminder Emily Hazard and her defenders were up to the challenge.
