Wetzel Earns Spot on Academic All-Patriot League Team

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Senior Megan Wetzel of the Boston University field hockey team was named the Academic All-Patriot League Team, the league announced Wednesday morning.
Wetzel started all 16 games for the Terriers, posting three assists and playing over 750 minutes as a midfielder. Her biggest assist of the year came in the Terriers' final game of the regular season, when she turned around a ball in the center of the circle and dished it to Caroline O'Brien for the game-winning goal in overtime.
In the classroom, Wetzel has a cumulative 3.86 GPA and was named to the Academic All-Patriot League team in 2024.
The Terriers will play a Patriot League semifinal contest at top-seeded American on Thursday, Nov. 6 at 11 a.m.
