BU Readies for Saturday Dual Meet at Boston College

BOSTON - The Boston University men's and women's swimming and diving teams will travel down Comm Ave on Saturday, Jan. 27 for its final dual meet of the season against crosstown rival Boston College.

Starting Blocks
- Both teams posted convincing wins over American, but fell to Army West Point and George Mason in last Saturday's quad meet hosted by the Patriots.
- On the men's side, BU posted its most convincing win of the season against the Eagles (232-53) and suffered losses to Army West Point (196-97) and George Mason (170-128).
- The women's team handled American (213-82) while Army West Point (170-130) and George Mason (159-141) edged out victories.
- Garrett Chin was named the Patriot League Swimmer of the Week on Tuesday.
- Chin picked up wins both in the 200 IM and 200 back and tabbed a second-place finish in the 100 back in a quad meet hosted by George Mason last Saturday.
- Grace Anderson took home the top spot in three individual events for the second time this season, winning the 1000 free, 200 free and 500 free and was a part of the winning 400 free relay squad.
- In nine of 10 meets this season, Anderson has won at least two events.
