Moriello to Compete at 2018 Great Edinburgh XCountry Challenge
January 8, 2018 | Women's Cross Country
INDIANAPOLIS - For the second year in a row, former Boston University women's cross country standout Rosa Moriello was selected to compete for Team USA at the Great Edinburgh XCountry Challenge.
Moriello, who is currently part of the Terrier track & field coaching staff, once again joins an elite group of men and women that will represent Team USA. Last year's women's team tied for second.
A 2015 graduate of BU, Moriello had an illustrious cross country career with the Terriers. She was a two-time individual champion at the Patriot League Championship, leading BU to back-to-back conference crowns. She also qualified for the 2014 NCAA Championship thanks to a 13th-place finish at that year's Northeast Regional. For her success, Moriello was named to the Patriot League's 25th Anniversary Team in 2015.
