CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – In the 25th edition of the Battle of Comm Ave on the hardwood, the Boston University women's basketball team saw its road woes continue as it suffered a 78-51 setback to Boston College Sunday afternoon at Conte Forum.

- Boston College exploded out of the gates with a 10-0 run.
- Riley Childs connected with Payton Hauck on a full-court assist in transition to cut the deficit to single digits, 14-5.
- The Eagles responded with a 7-2 run to take a 14-point lead at the end of the first.
- BU scored seven of its nine points in the second frame off turnovers, though Boston College staked a 36-16 advantage at the break.
- Following regrouping in the locker room, Katie Nelson connected from deep before Hauck put in three straight points to guide a 6-3 run to open the third.
- BU outmatched the Eagles 9-2 in second chance points in the third, but its crosstown rival held the upper hand, 61-32.
- Hauck stayed hot to kick off the fourth, converting on a fast break layup before drilling a corner 3-pointer.
- Nelson, Lauren Spearman and Thompson combined for the final 19 points of the game, but the Eagles came out on top by a final score of 78-51.
- Hauck posted an efficient performance, netting a team-high 16 points on 6-of-10 shooting.
